Welcome to the group programme your nervous system has been longing for
From the outside you appear confident, capable and coping. Other people may even praise you as high-achieving, put-together and independent.
But on the inside, you're frantically bracing against it all falling apart.
There's a phrase for this: strained belonging.
You're included. You show up. And other people would probably say you belong. But some part of you is still standing at the edge of the room, bracing. Not fully in, not fully out. Holding back in a way you can't quite name, let alone explain to anyone else. That's exhausting in a very particular way. Because you can't rest into a belonging you don't fully trust.
Behind closed doors, you struggle with procrastination, avoiding chores and basic self-care. It's like living two separate lives.
You constantly feel exhausted and overwhelmed because you overcommit and take on too much to overcompensate.
It's time to come home to yourself. Welcome to Regulate and Reconnect.
Places are limited to 12 participants

Wednesday 23rd September

12:00–1:30pm UK

8 weekly 90-minute sessions

A maximum group of 12
I’ve created this especially for you.
You’re the capable one, who keeps going, keeps managing, and keeps changing your shape to support other people.
You've read the books and watched the YouTube videos, trying to understand why you’re so exhausted. You’ve even asked ChatGPT to explain why you can’t sleep at 2am.
You may label the problem as procrastination, overthinking, overwhelm, self-criticism, people-pleasing, or self-sabotage.
But none of those labels capture what it’s like to live it. Every day.
Because it’s not enough to understand your nervous system. To really change, you need to practise inhabiting a safe and connected nervous system. In real time alongside other people who understand.
Here's what will shift for you inside Regulate & Reconnect.

Constantly scanning for threat
Recognising safety in your body, not just your head
White-knuckling through your day
Naming your state and knowing what you need
Shame every time you shut down, fawn or fly off the handle
Curiosity and gratitude that your nervous system is protecting you
Feeling like the only one who does this
Watching eleven other people nod because they know exactly what you mean
Reading about regulation
Feeling your own body come back online, live, in the room
Masking your way through connection
Being met by people who don’t need you to perform
Believing you’re too sensitive, too much or too intense
Understanding the gift of your sensitive nervous system
Willpower as your only tool
WayPower as your new way of navigating
“I don't have to pretend to be somebody I'm not, I don't have to put on a certain way of being. I think it's such a fundamentally important thing that we are allowed our depth of feeling.
Such a creative, healing place created and curated by you, Kaye, thank you. The synchronicity with such an incredible group is beautiful, I keep smiling.”

Jo Clayton, Filmmaker
Imagine if you could...
Recognise when you’ve lost safety & connection in the moment, and know how to come back to yourself.
Meet yourself with compassion and curiosity, not shame, even when old patterns show up.
Build a lasting sense of safety & connection in your own body as a resource to return to whenever you need.
Move from surviving your days through willpower to navigating with WayPower, agency and choice.
I began this journey hoping for a little more clarity, structure and a bit more calm in my life, but what I received was something far deeper… a space where I felt genuinely understood, affirmed, and supported as a neurodivergent person and as a solopreneur finding my way.
What has surprised me most is how the impact has continued far beyond the sessions themselves. The reflections, and shifts in perspective have woven into my daily personal life and into the foundations of my business. I’ve achieved goals I once doubted were possible, and I’ve grown in directions I didn’t even know to hope for when I first started. I feel more grounded, more capable, and more aligned with who I truly am.”

Emma Brinsley, Coach & Founder of Brinstorm Coaching
What makes this different?
You won't just know more about polyvagal theory or attachment styles. You'll have a felt, embodied relationship with your own nervous system that changes how you move through everyday.
You'll be able to:
You may start to notice yourself moving into fight, freeze, fawn, flight or flop while it's happening, not three days later in the shower
Trust your own body's signals, even after decades of overriding them
Meet yourself with empathy and curious compassion rather than your inner critic
Practices you can lean on, in your own time, to bring yourself back to regulation
You might find yourself recognising other people's nervous system states, and that can change how you show up with your own kids, in relationships and at work
Stop treating burnout, shutdown or people-pleasing as personal failures, and start treating them as messages from your body.
You'll feel:
Less alone in a body that's felt confusing for a long time
Less exhausted, overwhelmed and burnt out
Focused and motivated, without relying on urgency or anxiety to get started
Energised because you’re not battling your inner critic or your “shoulds
More able to catch the moment before shutdown, rather than only recognising it in hindsight.
Grounded, even on hard days because you'll have a deep understanding of what's happening and why.
Safety and safeness aren’t the same.
Most groups only offer you safety. Like rules, confidentiality and a clear structure.
And of course they all matter. But safeness is so much more than this.
Safeness is the felt sense that you can feel but perhaps not quite name. Where you can actually be yourself. That you’re not just protected from harm, but settled enough in your body to stop performing.
Your nervous system knows the difference, even when your mind can't quite put words to it. You can tick every box on a group's safety policy and still feel completely unable to relax.
Regulate & Reconnect is built for safeness, not just safety. That's why I’m keeping it small, live, and held.
Even the best content on YouTube or ChatGPT can't give you what you truly need to heal: co-regulation.
When you've overridden your nervous system for decades, you can't regulate in isolation. You regulate with other nervous systems.
As humans we are hard-wired to borrow safety from each other, from the moment we're born.
It's why a calm voice soothes a racing heart, and why being truly seen by another person can shift your physiology in a way that reading about physiology never will.
Learning about your nervous system from a screen is information.
Being in a room where a group of people are practising regulation together, and holding space for each other's most vulnerable moments, is transformation.
A group gives you something that even the best one-to-one relationship can't: many mirrors, not one.
Watching eleven other people recognise themselves in what you're describing teaches your nervous system something a single conversation never could.
You're not just being understood. You're watching understanding happen, over and over, from every direction in the room.
Your body knows the difference,
even when your mind tries to convince you otherwise.
“I have not been tired. I have not been headachy. I have not been in pain. I have just been able to be here and that has been huge.
It was so joyful for me to see you all, a real bright spot in my week and in my burnout journey. My heart feels full with love and compassion and care that I have received and that is huge for me.”

Dr Kelsey Byers, Research Scientist
In our small, live container, you’ll:
Experience real-time co-regulation, feeling and noticing your own system settle because someone else in the room is calm, and vice versa
Get a chance to practise being vulnerable about the parts of yourself you usually hide in a safe, small container. And you’ll discover that nothing falls apart when you do
Watch other people's nervous systems shift in real time, which teaches your own system something no YouTube video ever could
Build genuine relationships with others. And it's relationship not information that heals a nervous system shaped by disconnection

Talk therapy and counselling are brilliant when you’re in a crisis.
This isn't a replacement for either, and if you're in the middle of an acute crisis, then this isn't the right space for you.
Talk Therapy
Talk therapy works through your thinking brain on a cognitive level: narrating, reflecting, and making sense of your story in words.
Regulate & Reconnect
Regulate & Reconnect works somatically and relationally, through your felt experience, live, in real time, in a group.
That distinction matters.
You can understand intellectually that you fawn under pressure and yet still experience fawning under pressure in a work meeting or at a family dinner.
Real change in nervous system patterns doesn't come from intellectual insights.
Real change comes from repeated, felt experiences of safeness so that your body inhabits a felt shift.
That's what a live, embodied group container gives you that reading, journaling, or even 1:1 talking can’t.
With Regulate & Reconnect, you’ll have the chance to practise regulation in your body, in the moment, surrounded by people whose nervous systems are learning the same thing. That’s how you become the change.
Who is this for?
You're highly sensitive (HSP), and/or neurodivergent (ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD), diagnosed or not.
You think deeply, feel deeply, and care deeply. Maybe you've even been told you're too sensitive or over-emotional.
You have a chronic health condition such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue or unexplained pain, which you know flares up when you’re stressed.
You recognise yourself in anxiety, shutdown, people-pleasing, avoidance, or burnout. Sometimes all on the same day!
You want to understand why your body does what it does, instead of willpowering it into submission.
You've read about nervous system regulation but still feel disconnected from your own body.
You want to understand yourself with your whole body, not just your head.
"On paper, I looked like a high-achieving individual. Behind the mask, I felt I was not fulfilling my full potential.
Before this group programme, I had a feeling of being untethered. I now feel mentally energised and excited by the topics and discussions we had.”

Lainey Gauson, Researcher
Ready to be genuinely seen by a small group of people who get it, even if that idea feels a little terrifying
You're willing to show up imperfectly, even if you’re tired, confused or unsure what to say
You want applied practices to try out in real time, not just theory
You’re not in an acute crisis right now, but are determined to not be back there again.
Who is this not for?
You're in an acute crisis and need clinical support. Please reach out to your GP, a crisis line, or emergency services instead.
You're looking for a diagnosis, clinical assessment, or medical treatment. This is coaching and psychoeducation, not therapy or medical care.
You’re looking for an intellectual or academic deep-dive with no personal reflection or group interaction.
You're not able to commit to most of the 8 live sessions. Though recordings are available, this work builds cumulatively and works best with consistent presence.
You're hoping for a quick fix. This is gradual, felt change, not an overnight transformation.
You don’t currently have the capacity or ability to be in a small group setting, even with no pressure to share.
What's waiting for you inside

Not a library of content to work through on your own. This is a small, safe experience with room to notice, practise, reflect and reconnect.
Deliberately small, so you can deeply connect to others whilst not abandoning yourself. Start to explore what it’s like to experience both safety and safeness.
“The way Kaye facilitates the group is deeply sensitive, empathetic and respectful. The programme is a unique and engaging experience: the content is richly creative, and I love the fact that the sessions are recorded and the way it's all set up.
I leave each week feeling energised, inspired, reflective.”

Your Journey Through Regulate & Reconnect
Wednesday ⋅ 23 September
We'll co-create how we want to be together: radical acceptance of whatever shows up in the room and the understanding that when one of us has a realisation, we all learn from it. We'll explore a range of models for understanding your nervous system to develop a shared language.
Wednesday ⋅ 30 September
If you’ve been deep in survival mode, you might not even know what it feels like to be regulated. We’ll explore safety and connection through the 8Cs and we’ll practise how to find your way back there.
Wednesday ⋅ 7 October
Why fear-based activation is so seductive when you are neurodivergent, and what it costs your body over time. We’ll explore alternatives to anxiety, urgency, irritation, overfunctioning and deadline-chasing to get things done.
Wednesday ⋅ 14 October
You can still be functioning and delivering, and appear fine from the outside. But on the inside the lights are off. We’ll explore shutdown and functional freeze and how to gently begin to reconnect to green.
Wednesday ⋅ 21 October
The cost of putting other people’s needs above our own is that we can lose connection with ourselves and our needs. You’ll understand how this shows up for you, where it came from and how to set and hold boundaries from a safe, connected place.
Wednesday ⋅ 28 October
You’ll understand how the flight state shows up for you in avoidance, inbox paralysis, disappearing into scrolling or sleep. You’ll practise recognising when you’re pulled into disappearance, and how to build the capacity to stay.
Wednesday ⋅ 4 November
Flop happens when your whole system collapses and we experience burnout or complete paralysis. You’ll understand why it happens, why it scares us so much, and what real recovery looks and feels like.
Wednesday ⋅ 11 November
In the final session, we’ll bring it all together. You’ll develop your personal nervous system map and a clear sense of what intentional, embodied navigation looks like for you from here.
“And I’ve realised for the first time that I have been raised as an ableist!!! Curious isn’t it? We’ve been masking for so long we’ve almost forgotten who we really are! I love the fact that I can fidget here, and listen whilst still moving.
Thank you for such a beautiful space.”

Why me
You can learn about polyvagal theory from a book, Chat GPT or watch a hundred YouTube videos on nervous system regulation.
What you can't get from learning on your own is the understanding that comes from someone who has lived every single thing she's about to share with you.
I bring formal training from multiple directions, because nervous system work doesn't sit neatly inside one discipline.
I've watched, week after week, exactly what happens when people finally find a room where they don't have to mask. I know what psychological safety looks and feels like in a group, not just in theory.
In 2025, I spoke at the Global ADHD Conference on the importance of psychological safety in groups, and what it means to finally belong to a community after a lifetime of masking. It's not a side interest for me. It's the thing I've built my entire practice around.
The frameworks I share with you aren't borrowed from a weekend course. They're what I use every day to regulate and restore myself and share every day with real people like you in coaching sessions and groups.
A Senior Practitioner Coach and Coaching Supervisor accredited with the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council)
An Accredited Hypnotherapist and master NLP practitioner with ACCPH (Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists)
A Focusing Practitioner with the British Focusing Association (BFA)
A Specialist ADHD Coach certified through Gold Mind Academy
A trauma-informed coach, trained in creating safety with clients
I have a master’s degree in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology
I've spent more than 1,000 hours coaching neurodivergent and highly sensitive adults
I’ve delivered hundreds of workshops and group sessions for neurodivergent adults, coaches and counsellors and employees and leaders of large organisations
I've run ADHD UK's monthly self-care and burnout support groups for over four years.

"Kaye, clearly the work you're doing is something very, very special. And one of your insights, which is that people connect with the mask, that you're making these false connections and that they're connecting with the non-true you. The cost of that, that was an amazing insight, and frankly quite tough to listen to.
What you bring is just amazing... Thank you so much. You're extraordinary."

Henry Shelford, CEO of ADHD UK
Credentials only tell half the story, and honestly, probably not the half that matters most to you right now.
As a single parent to two neurodivergent teens, and as someone who lives with chronic conditions, I've had to build a way of living that's sustainable, responsive and genuinely mine.
That's WayPower.
WayPower isn’t a theory I read about. It's the way I’ve developed to navigate my own life, every day, including the days I have little energy or capacity.
Ten years ago you’d have found me relying on willpower, caffeine and sheer perseverance just to get through my never-ending to-do list.
During the pandemic, while home-schooling, running a busy university department, and going through a relationship breakdown, on top of raging menopause symptoms, I hit burnout hard enough to leave my job. Not for the first time, either.
Long before I understood why, I'd spent decades cycling through diagnoses of depression, anxiety, bulimia, fibromyalgia and burnout, repeatedly told that I needed better coping strategies, or a new medication.
It wasn't until my fifties that a single Google search about ADHD in women cracked something open that a lifetime of therapy, self-help books and good intentions hadn't touched.
Understanding my own neurodivergent, highly sensitive nervous system didn't heal everything overnight. But it was the beginning of something therapy alone had never quite reached: a felt, embodied sense of why my body did what it did, and what it needed instead of what I'd been willpowering it to do.

Regulate & Reconnect isn't simply information delivered by someone qualified to deliver it.
I can guide you because I’ve sat where you're sitting right now.
I’ve done the professional training because I wanted to understand what was happening in my own body
I’ve spent thousands of hours sharing that knowledge with people like you.
You'll be held by someone who understands the theory, has lived the experience, and has spent years learning how to hold a room so that both can meet.
I look forward to welcoming you on the inside.
With warmth and WayPower,
Kaye

Questions you may have
Not all all. If you resonate with any of the above, you're welcome, diagnosed, questioning, curious or not. This work is for anyone whose brain and nervous systems are wired in a way that makes it more difficult for us to regulate ourselves in a challenging world. Or perhaps we’ve never been shown how.
You don't need to identify as highly sensitive, or with any label, to belong here. If you recognise yourself in shutdown, people-pleasing, burnout, or feeling like you're bracing for everything to fall apart, then that's enough. The labels are useful shorthand, not a test you need to pass first.
Yes, you'll get access to all the recordings via your portal throughout the group programme, alongside the workbooks and learning resources. Recordings stay online for 6 months after the final session, so you can catch up on any sessions you miss or revisit them after the course has ended. Breakout room discussions are never recorded or shared.
If you miss an occasional session, you can watch the recording in your own time. And if you have questions between sessions, you can use our community platform to ask or connect with others.
However, if you’re not able to attend most of the session, asynchronous learning might be better for you. Because a key theme of this group programme is safeness and co-regulation, it has been created for people to attend live most of the time.
You certainly don’t need to have your camera and mic on all the time. And there's no pressure to perform or share, and you’re welcome to participate via chat in the Zoom instead of speaking.
However, in the interest of the safeness of the group as a whole, I ask that you show up with your camera on for at least some of the time we’re online together. This isn’t a group you can attend from a shared office or whilst you’re in a work meeting. It requires you to be present, as we practise attuning to our nervous systems and others’.
During the sessions, I’ll invite you to make yourself as comfortable as possible, including moving around or stimming when needed. PJs, dressing gowns and blankets are most welcome.
I have designed this group programme to be gentle and welcoming to everyone and I have many hours of experience of creating neuro-affirming spaces.
However, I have also purposely designed it to be in a group, so that you receive the benefit of everyone learning together. It’s like many mirrors rather than a single mirror.
If you really struggle in groups, it may be worth booking some 1:1 sessions first, to support your nervous system and build your capacity to be with groups of people. Or it may be that one of my webinars or workshops might be a better fit for you, where you don’t need your camera on and can be an interested observer rather than a participant.
You’re welcome to email me to find out more. [email protected]
